From the Perfect Circle: Interrogation Series, 2003. It is a multi-layered oil bar painting on Coventry paper mounted on board in a handmade black lacquered 18.25 X 22" floating frame. These paintings on paper specifically reference Nietzsche's "interrogation" in his epic poem, Thus Spoke Zarathustra. In both process and result, they stand as citations and homages to the conflict Nietzsche identified between man's desire for a perfect world under the realm of the Absolute, and the world as is, in all its imperfections.
