These photographs taken by me in various locations from Maine to St. Martin in 2009 specifically identify my intrigue with landscape as a catalyst for my obsessive investigation of the "struggle" I perceive between humankind, always seeking perfection, and nature in all its chaos and imperfection. This parallels the struggle, as I experience it, between artist and artwork.
